“If you think you are too small to be effective, you have never been in bed with a mosquito.” – Betty Reese
When I heard about the shooting in Colorado last week, I was reminded how much of an impact just one person can have on so many people’s lives. My heart, thoughts, and prayers go out to all of the families touched by this horrible tragedy.
Thankfully, we would like to have a more positive impact on others. Never, ever underestimate how much of an effect you can have. You don’t have to be a politician, a CEO, or a celebrity to make a difference. Whether it’s as simple as holding the door for someone, offering a heartfelt compliment, or volunteering for a charity that is important to you, each of us has the capacity to make little contributions that make a big difference.
A horrible tragedy like this reminds us how blessed we are and how precious life is. It also reminds us that each of us have the incredible opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of others.
What will you do this week to make a difference?
We want to hear from you! Join us on Facebook!
Missed you last week. So enjoy having you back.
